SAN FRANCISO (KGO) -- Polaroid is giving GoPro some competition. The company is out with a tiny HD action-video camera called the Cube.

It's got 124 degree, wide-angle lens and comes with a magnetic bottom so it can be mounted on things like a helmet.

At $99, the cube is priced for people who don't want to spend two to four times as much for a GoPro.

Polaroid says each camera is made out of a rubberized material built to withstand a few drops. It's also water-resistant.

There's a single button on top. You press it once to take a picture or twice for video.
