Police are out in force again along the Peninsula Tuesday to catch drivers looking at their devices, instead of the road.

Specially-assigned officers in San Mateo County are on the lookout for distracted drivers. Officers have already issued 40 tickets.

Citations can be as high as $200.

They're also targeting jaywalkers near the Daly City BART station.

Last month officers in Milbrae ticketed dozens of drivers for distracted driving.
