Jack London Square Ferry Terminal closed for refurbishment project

OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- The Jack London Square Ferry Terminal in Oakland will be closed this weekend for a refurbishment project.

Crews will be working on building a new gangway and relocating and repairing a security gate.

In the meantime, customers are encouraged to take the ferry from the Alameda Main Street Terminal.

The Jack London Square Ferry Terminal is expected to re-open on Monday in time for the morning commute.
