The way we visit one of the Bay Area's top attractions is changing.

MUIR WOODS NATIONAL PARK, Calif. (KGO) -- The way we visit one of the Bay Area's top attractions is changing.

Starting January 16, visitors to Muir Woods will need a reservation if they are going by car or shuttle.

The reservation system is being implemented to make parking easier and manage the 1.2 million people who visit the site every year.
