SAN MATEO COUNTY, Calif. (KGO) -- A Woodside man faces federal charges after his bizarre behavior aboard a Virgin America flight that was forced to land in Omaha, Nebraska.

Cell phone video showed 26-year-old Doug Adams being led away in handcuffs by authorities Sunday. Adams was on-board a Boston to Los Angeles flight when witnesses say he had been engaging in a sex act in his seat.

He then tried to open an emergency door. Two Boston police detectives were on-board and helped restrain Adams.

The flight continued to Los Angeles after authorities took custody of Adams in Omaha.
