UC Berkeley assistant professor fired for sexually harassing students

BERKELEY, Calif. (KGO) -- A UC Berkeley assistant professor is out of a job. Chancellor Nicholas Dirks says he fired Dr. Blake Wentworth for sexually harassing four students.

The decision came after a university committee says it found clear and convincing evidence that Wentworth had engaged in misconduct.

Wentworth was a member of South and SouthEast Asian Studies.
