Richmond police say 16-year-old with autism found safe

Officials say 16-year-old Ramon Garcia is safe and sound after missing for a brief time on Tuesday.

Officials asked the community to be on the lookout for Ramon Garcia, 16, who was last seen at 2:05 p.m. Tuesday walking on 23rd Street near Richmond High School.

Garcia is diagnosed with autism and has the mental capacity of a three to five-year-old child. He can speak and can comprehend what he hears, although his processes are delayed.

He is 5' 11" and weighs 205 pounds. He has brown eyes and close-cut black hair. He was last seen wearing a dark gray shirt and gray shorts.
