SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Boston officials say the Victory Parade for the Super Bowl champion New England Patriots will take place on Wednesday - no matter what.

The celebration was originally scheduled for Tuesday, but too much snow and the bitter cold forced the postponement.

The team reportedly told the mayor that the event needs to take place on Wednesday because many of the players already have plans to leave town.
