Takeaway of the Day
Today's weather was characterized by gray skies, lingering low clouds, patchy morning drizzle, and below average temperatures. This pattern is what we sometimes call "May Gray," but it's happening a week early this spring. In any event, we will likely have to wait a couple of days for a sunnier and warmer pattern to develop.
The Look Ahead
Tomorrow and Friday will bring more gray skies and cool-for-April weather, and there is even a chance of showers on Friday - but the weekend is looking much brighter!
Sunny skies will return on Saturday, along with temperatures in a more typical mid-spring range.
This warming trend will continue well into next week with a string of sunny days plus afternoon highs reaching into the mid 70s in our inland communities.
