High clouds will visit us again today, but even warmer spring like temperatures and a fall like offshore flow arrive early next week. Thus, the pattern remains dry for likely another week.
A High Surf Advisory continues until 7 p.m. tonight along the north west facing beaches with wave heights up to 20 feet possible. Please be careful. Mild afternoon readings and the long holiday weekend will likely lure more people to the coast.

A Wind Advisory is in effect from Sunday evening through 6 p.m. Tuesday afternoon in the North Bay Mountains and East Bay Hills above 1,000 feet.
Sustained winds of 15-20 mph with gusts to 35 mph are expected. Above 1,000 feet, at the highest peaks, 55 mph wind gusts are possible. While fuels are not very dry due to our somewhat recent rains, powerlines and trees could topple creating hazardous driving conditions.
These strong winds are due to a difference in pressure between strong low pressure moving over the area and strong high pressure building behind in Monday night into Tuesday.
There is also a High Wind watch for the Carquinez Strait and delta Sunday evening lasting through Tuesday evening.
