Wednesday will be bright and sunny inland and over the bay, with patchy fog and breezy conditions near the coast.

Highs will range from mid 60s at the coast to mid and upper 80s inland.

This mild-to-warm pattern will continue for the remainder the week, followed by a sharp warmup over the weekend, when inland highs may reach or exceed 100 degrees. As a result of the hot, dry, and breezy pattern that is developing, a Fire Weather Watch will be in effect for much of the Bay Area from Saturday morning through Monday morning.
