High fire danger prompts East Bay parks to ban open flames
East Bay parks have temporarily banned open flames due to high fire danger.

OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- East Bay Parks have temporarily banned open flames due to high fire danger.

Warning signs are posted at Lake Temescal warning it is prohibited to smoke, cook in wood or charcoal barbecues or light campfires.

Gasoline-powered generators are also banned.

Visitors will be allowed to use gas or propane-fueled stoves.
