Private jet hit by lightning on approach to Mineta San Jose International Airport

SAN JOSE, Calif. (KGO) -- A jet was hit by lightning on its approach to Mineta San Jose International Airport this morning.

Officials say the Falcon 2000 was approaching the airport when it was struck by lightning around 9:30 a.m.

All eight passengers aboard the private jet were not hurt.
