Ocean Beach lifeguards warn of dangerous surf as weather heats up

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- The heat around the Bay has lots of people headed for Bay Area beaches, but there are unseen dangers in the surf.

Lifeguards in San Francisco are watching the waves. They are warning that the water is very cold, the currents are strong and it only takes a few seconds to get swept away.
