Many people found ways to keep cool as temperatures soared across the Bay Area on Sunday.

"Oh this is fabulous, Ireland is freezing at home. We were talking to people at home this morning and it's miserable, it's pouring rain it's cold," San Francisco resident Jacqui Pickering said.

A day at the beach for some people is almost always a sure bet on days like these. "I first went into the ocean, I swam for about 30 minutes, came back, relaxed in the sun," Caden Campbell said.

Crissy Field was filled with visitors and Bay Area residents as temperatures reached 90 degrees, which was a treat for some people. "Biked along the ocean so the breeze felt awesome," San Francisco resident Jessica Brandt said.

A large crowd gathered at the Lafayette Art and Wine Festival this weekend where the hot weather got to some who were treated by paramedics.

High temperatures reached low to mid 90s across the Bay Area.
