SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- A San Francisco hotel unveiled what has to be the sweetest holiday decoration this year.

A 12-foot castle is now prominently displayed in the lobby of the Westin St. Francis. The pastry chef has been working on it since June.

Each piece was used by hand and nearly 600 pounds of sugar was used to make the winter castle, presents, and the elves.

To keep people from stealing a taste, the hotel gives away cookies and hot chocolate to the visitors.
