Many people in the Bay Area were surprised to wake up Sunday, July 1 to not only fog, but a very strange orange glow.

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Many people in the Bay Area were surprised to wake up Sunday, July 1 to not only fog, but a very strange orange glow.

An air district official says the fog actually trapped smoke that blew into the Bay Area from the County Fire in Yolo County. So the Bay Area saw the orange haze, but didn't get any of the actual smoke.
