Takeaway of the Day
Friday will be sunny and warm, but rather windy in the afternoon. Winds will gust 20 to 40 mph with the strongest winds along the coast. Under sunny skies highs reach the mid 60s to the mid 80s.
The winds will also create rough conditions at the coast where a Beach Hazards Statement will go up from 3 p.m. today to 9 a.m. Monday.
A Look Ahead
Expect sunny skies through the weekend with mild highs but gusty winds in the afternoon. A Beach Hazard Statement will be in effect along the coast for strong rip currents and sneaker waves. A Fire Weather Watch will go into effect for Solano County from 5 a.m. Saturday to 8 p.m. Monday.
Even warmer air is set to arrive next week with hottest areas in the 80s & 90s.
