About Ryan Reynolds:
He has emerged as one of Hollywood's most sought after leading men and was recently named one of People magazine's "Sexiest Men" of 2007.

Reynolds recently wrapped filming Adventureland, opposite Kristen Stewart and directed by Superbad's Greg Mottola. This comedy takes place in the 1980's when a recent college grad takes a job at an amusement park. Reynolds' next feature is Fireflies in the Garden, where he stars opposite Julia Roberts, Carrie-Anne Moss and Emily Watson. This film follows a family torn apart when faced with an unexpected tragedy. The film will premiere on February 10th at the Berlin International Film Festival and will open in the spring.

Up next, Reynolds will begin shooting the romantic comedy The Proposal, starring opposite Sandra Bullock. Hilarity arises when a pushy boss forces her assistant to marry her to avoid deportation.

Reynolds was last seen in writer/director John August's The Nines, which premiered at the 2007 Sundance Film Festival. The film, which also stars Hope Davis, has received much critical acclaim. Following Sundance, The Nines opened in theaters in New York, Los Angeles and Austin.

Reynolds was also seen starring in director Joe Carnahan's Smokin' Aces for Working Title and Universal Pictures, alongside an all-star cast including Ray Liotta, Jeremy Piven, Andy Garcia, Ben Affleck and Jason Bateman. In this film, Reynolds plays an FBI agent on the hunt for a Las Vegas stand-up comedian who has decided to squeal on the mob.

Reynolds recently completed filming Chaos Theory, co-starring Emily Mortimer, for Warner Independent Pictures. In the Marcos Siega-directed drama, Reynolds stars as a man experiencing a crisis after he finds out he is sterile and his child is not his own.

Reynolds also starred in The Amityville Horror, a remake of the classic cult film. The film opened #1 at the box office opening weekend and made $107 million worldwide.

Reynolds was memorable in the title role of Van in the cult classic National Lampoon's Van Wilder, as well as New Line Cinema's romantic comedy Just Friends. For his co-starring role with Jessica Biel and Wesley Snipes in Blade: Trinity, Reynolds showcased his physical attributes undergoing an impressive physical transformation for his role as the acerbic vampire, Hannibal King.

Reynolds currently resides in Los Angeles.
