Happy Tails: Honey

In her previous home, she always had access to the outside through a doggy door. She might be able to climb some types of fences, so you will want to supervise her while she is outside. Beagles are prone to wandering off if they become focused on following the scent of another animal. Honey is very playful and enjoys a variety of toys. She is happiest when she is around people and always looks sad when she is alone.

If you're looking for something a little more exotic:
Grub
Jack Dempsey - Male
ID# A043043

A TAHS Humane Agent rescued Grub after he was abandoned when his owner was evicted from their apartment. Named after the Heavyweight Boxing Champion of the world in 1919, the Jack Dempsey is a confident and very attractive show fish. You can see that Grub even does a little mugging for the camera as we were filming him. They will do well if provided with adequate space and they like to burrow and eat plants. They prefer a tank that's bottom is lined with fine sand, plenty of hiding spaces among the rocks and wood, and floating plants. They can be territorial and intolerant of other fish and are usually kept singly or in large groups with compatible tank mates. Grub is available for adoption at TAHS for only $5.00.

PetSmart Adoption Weekend:

PetSmart is holding their spring adoption weekend this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday February 11-13. While we have adoptable animals at PetSmart every weekend, the spring adoption events are special because the store will donate $35 to TAHS for each animal adopted. The store will also offer special product giveaways with each adoption.
