Taco Bell opens new upscale chain in SoCal

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. (KGO) -- It still won't be fine dining, but Taco Bell is ready to roll out a more sophisticated menu.

The first U.S. Taco Co. restaurant is set to open Monday in Huntington Beach.

The menu for Taco Bell's new upscale chain includes smoked brisket tacos and a crispy chicken and gravy taco. Also on the menu -- a vanilla shake featuring Guinness, tequila caramel sauce, and chocolate flakes.

If the new concept is a hit, a U.S. Taco Co. restaurant could open in the Bay Area soon.
