UC doctors set to strike Tuesday

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Doctors at the University of California's Student Health Centers are going on a one-day strike on Tuesday.

It will affect all ten campuses.

In the Bay Area, doctors will picket at UC Berkeley, UC Davis, and UC Santa Cruz.

The union says this is the first time in decades doctors have gone on strike against an employer. They charge the university with unfair labor practices.

US says they are encouraging the union to get back to the bargaining table.
