Joe Jackson dies at 89 after battle with pancreatic cancer
Joe Jackson, the patriarch of the Jackson family, has died at the age of 89, Eyewitness News has learned.

LAS VEGAS -- Joe Jackson, the patriarch of the Jackson family, has died at the age of 89, Eyewitness News has learned.

The 89-year-old was in a Las Vegas hospital, battling stage-four pancreatic cancer last week.

Jackson has battled several illnesses in recent years.

He suffered a stroke in 2015.
