Joe Jackson dies at 89 after battle with pancreatic cancer

LAS VEGAS -- Joe Jackson, the patriarch of the Jackson family, has died at the age of 89, Eyewitness News has learned.

The 89-year-old was in a Las Vegas hospital, battling stage-four pancreatic cancer last week.

Jackson has battled several illnesses in recent years.

He suffered a stroke in 2015.
