Massive gaming lounge coming to downtown San Jose

SAN JOSE, Calif. (KGO) -- Get your game face on San Jose. An e-sports place will soon take up some downtown space.

AFK Gamer Lounge posted on its Facebook page that it's taking over the Los Gatos Brewing Company space on West Santa Clara Street.

The microbrewery and restaurant abruptly shut down last week, leaving the space available for a 15,000 square-foot lounge where gamers, 21 and older, can come to meet, compete and drink.

AFK says 100 gaming computers will be networked together and online with the most popular games installed.
