New ABC series promises to make you laugh, sing

A new ABC series will have you laughing and singing along. "Galavant" is billed as a musical comedy set in Medieval Times.

ABC7 reporter Leyla Gulen had a chance to catch up with Joshua Sasse who plays the lead role. His character tries to win the heart of Madalena from the clutches of King Richard, but with a lot of humor.

"We don't want the prince to be the normal prince. Or the princess to be a normal princess, r the knight," said Sasse.

"Galavant" will also feature guest appearances that include John Stamos, Ricky Gervaise from "The Office" and Hugh Bonneville from "Downton Abbey."
