Nick Carter to join 'Dancing with the Stars' season 21 cast

It was announced on Wednesday that Nick Carter will be the latest to join the Dancing with the Stars season 21 cast.

Nick Carter, 35, a singer with the Backstreet Boys, is originally of New York and has performed on reality television shows in a family reality show called "The Carters."

ABC has also announced many of the professional dancers that will join the show this season, and fans will recognize some familiar faces.

Dancing with the Stars season 21 will premiere Sept. 14 on ABC at 8 p.m. ET | 7 p.m. CT.
