Don't blame Jimmy Kimmel, Funny or Die are the ones responsible for the Dennis Quaid meltdown video.
On April 10, YouTube user fyq8715 posted a video of Dennis Quaid on a set, shouting vulgarities and insults at someone offscreen. The clip quickly went viral, being viewed over 1.5 million times (WARNING: Explicit language).
But many online questioned if Quaid's angry rant in the video was authentic, or if it was staged as another one of Kimmel's viral video pranks.
"When I woke up this morning I was being blamed for it," Kimmel said Tuesday on Jimmy Kimmel Live. "I have to say it's disappointing because you play 50 pranks and all of a sudden people don't trust you anymore."
On Wednesday, however, it was revealed that the "meltdown" was staged as part of a Funny or Die video (WARNING: Explicit language and content).
