Filmmakers say that to capture dance in all its exquisiteness is one of the most difficult challenges. Through Sunday, audiences will be captivated by an array of examples of how film and dance become a perfect partnership at the San Francisco Dance Film Festival.

If you haven't gotten your tickets yet, best to get on it, the annual laugh riot known as the Oddball Comedy and Curiosity Festival is back with two hilarious and renowned comedians: Aziz Anzari and Amy Schumer. The show will be stacked with stand-up comedians who've made names for themselves both in TV and on the big screen.

Starting on Tuesday, it's the Half Moon bay with the world championship pumpkin weigh-off, thousands of dollars are up for grabs for whoever can squash the competition with the heaviest pumpkin. That's followed by next week's Half Moon Bay Art and Pumpkin Festival. Those champion pumpkins will be on display along with carved masterpieces, a haunted house and all kinds of fun fall activities.
