Restaurant launches mistletoe drones to get diners in the holiday spirit

It's a long way to Valentine's Day, but a restaurant in the United Kingdom is playing cupid. TGI Friday's UK is getting diners to pucker up by launching drones decked with mistletoe.

The mistletoe-carrying drones are part of the restaurant's #Togethermas holiday marketing campaign. The drones are also equipped with a "kiss cam" for anyone wondering what those awkward holiday kisses look like from the mistletoe's perspective.

Although new in the UK, this is not the first time someone has thought to give a tech spin on Christmas tradition. Last year, a mistletoe drone spread holiday cheer around San Francisco.
