SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- New Medicare cards that are different from any that have come before them are being sent to recipients.

Dr. Ashby Wolfe stopped by to explain the changes. She is the chief medical officer for Region 9, U.S. Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
