BAY POINT, Calif. (KGO) -- Firefighters in the East Bay are trying to figure out what sparked an early morning blaze that torched more than a dozen cars.
The fire broke out just before 5 a.m. at a car auction lot in Bay Point. Firefighters say between six and ten vehicles were on fire when they arrived, but because they're packed so together on the lot, about 16 or 20 were charred by the time the flames were out. The lot has a mix of wrecked cars and some in good condition, all up for auction.
