SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Three people have life-threatening injuries after they were hit by a car in San Francisco's Mission District.
The crash happened about 8 p.m. Saturday at 14th St. and South Van Ness Ave. Two pedestrians were injured in the collision that involved a Jaguar and a large pickup truck. The driver of the Jaguar was also injured.
A witness says the Jaguar may have run through a red light at an intersection and was then hit by the pickup.
It's not clear if the pedestrians who were injured were in the crosswalk or on the sidewalk and struck by the spinning vehicles.
"We just heard the car crash and then we came outside and we seen people on the floor," said witness Jasmine Gallardo.
Police are still trying to figure out exactly what happened and determine who is at fault.
