OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- Oakland police are investigating the discovery of a body that was found wrapped in plastic and dumped along Union Street near 26th.
Police say at this time the cause of death is unknown and will be determined by the Alameda County Coroner's Office. The gender, race, and age of the person is also unknown.
Officers are trying to determine how the body got there, and how long it was there before anyone found it.
