SAN MATEO COUNTY, Calif. (KGO) -- The California Coastal Commission wants the public to weigh in online about how people use Martins Beach near Half Moon Bay.

This as the court battle continues over a private road to the beach. Commission officials say if it shows people has been using the private road as if it were public for at least five years, it could stay open.

Venture capitalist Vinod Khosla who owns the road says he's just fighting to preserve his rights as property owner.
