MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. (KGO) -- A dangerous act of vandalism on Google's campus has Mountain View police looking for a criminal.
Police say the person threw two incendiary devices at a building just before 11 p.m. on Thursday at the West Campus Building 2 on Salado Drive.
Mountain View firefighters say they arrived and put out a small fire.
"Very superficial, singeing to the building and also to the Google Earth demo car. The car was never on fire or anything," Mountain View PD spokesperson Katie Nelson said.
Police taped off the area, using their flashlights to look for evidence.
Investigators found the two incendiary devices.
It is likely there's some type of camera that was on in the area but so far, no arrests have been made.
"After the fire was put out, there were two incendiary devices found that were sent subsequently to a lab for testing for DNA and such. It's still an active investigation. We're looking into what happened," Nelson said.
A Google spokesperson confirmed the vandalism and said security is looking into it.
