East Bay police make arrest in 99 Cents Only store molestation

ALAMEDA COUNTY, Calif. (KGO) -- In the East Bay Wednesday night police made an arrest in a disturbing attack. An 8-year-old girl was molested in an Alameda County store just steps from her mother.

Investigators said they thought this man had done this before and now we know their suspicions were confirmed.

Meanwhile, employees and customers in the store were happy to hear of the arrest.

The suspect's name has not been released, but Alameda County Sheriff's investigators say they positively identified the man captured on surveillance cameras.

They say he's a 33-year-old man who sexually assaulted an 8-year-old girl in the toy aisle of the 99 Cents Only Store on Sunday.
