A Sonoma County woman's kidnapping story is being disputed by one of her friends.

The Sonoma County Sheriff announced three arrests in a kidnap and rape ordeal they say a young woman endured for two months at a suspect's home in Santa Rosa.

But now, someone has come forward to contradict the alleged victim's story.

"What this woman has gone through is absolutely terrifying." said Sgt. Cecile Foche with the Sonoma County Sheriff's Office.

A 22- year-old woman reported a horrendous crime, saying she was kidnapped and then repeatedly raped.

"She was brutalized and held for what we now know was before the holidays. So this is two months of captivity where she was subjected to unspeakable sexual acts and brutal physical attacks on her," said Sgt.Foche.

The alleged abuse took place in a gated property on Stony Point Road in unincorporated Santa Rosa.

The woman says she escaped from the compound last week when police raided the property and took seven people in for questioning. Three were actually arrested Wednesday in the parking lot of the Sonoma County Sheriff's Department.

They include the man police say is the mastermind and rapist -- 34-year-old Jose Angel Barajas-Mireles. He's supposedly the mastermind behind the whole thing and is facing multiple charges, including aggravated rape.

They also arrested 34-year-old Guillermo Avina and 52-year-old Jaime Cisneros.

"One of the suspects, Guillermo Avina, has driven her in the past three weeks to and from nail salons and getting her hair done," said Dee, who does not want to her last name or identity known.

Dee lives at the compound. She says she is Avina's girlfriend and she claims the alleged kidnap and rape victim was not a victim at all.

"She moved in here before Christmas. All of her clothes were here. She's been living here. Me and her became friends. She wanted me to teach her English, " said Dee.

Dee even provided us with this Facebook photo, showing Avina with a smiling woman Dee identifies as the alleged victim. On the bottom, the woman wrote "my special somebody." It was posted a month before the woman claims she was kidnapped.

Another woman who said she's a neighbor also did not want her identity known.

"It's kind of scary. You don't want something like to happen in your neighborhood, especially where you live," the neighbor said.

All three defendants are being held at the Sonoma County jail. Barajas-Mireles on $6 million bail. Their arraignment is set for Friday afternoon.
