Funeral procession route finalized for fallen SJPD officer

SAN JOSE, Calif. (KGO) -- San Jose police have finalized the procession route for Thursday's funeral for Officer Michael Johnson, killed in the line of duty.

There are several road closures along the procession route.

Officer Johnson's body will leave the funeral home in Los Gatos at 10 a.m.

The procession will head up Winchester and turn onto Stevens Creek Boulevard before ending at the SAP Center located at 525 W. Santa Clara Street for a public memorial at 11 a.m.

The San Jose Earthquakes will be holding an Easter Egg Hunt following the team's match on April 5th (available to kids 10 and under with a ticket to the match). A donation bin will be set up at the Guest Services Center behind section 101. Following the match, fans can donate upon checking in for the Easter egg hunt. In addition, donations can be made at www.sjearthquakes.com.

All the donations will be coming to the SJPOA Charitable Foundation and then given to family.
