MEMPHIS, Tenn. (KGO) -- An Oakland man is in custody in Tennessee accused of running a brothel out of a home he rented on Airbnb.

Memphis police arrested 23-year-old Travis Young on Monday, following an undercover sting operation.

A neighbor says he tipped off police about the alleged prostitution ring, after watching at least 31 men come and go from the home since last Friday.

The couple who owned the house had rented it out while they were on vacation.

In addition to the prostitution charges, Young is also accused money laundering and marijuana possession.

Four others are also in custody.

Airbnb has since released a statement:

"Airbnb has zero tolerance for this type of behavior and we are outraged over what has reportedly taken place. We immediately removed this user from our community and we are fully supporting our host. Airbnb runs background checks on all US residents using the platform and we are urgently investigating this in coordination with local law enforcement." -- Spokesperson, Benjamin Breit
