OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- When police in Oakland received a report of a baby trapped in a car at 22nd Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, emergency personnel responded quickly by smashing the window.

After they got inside, however, authorities realized it was actually a lifelike doll in the car seat.

It's not clear at this time why the lifelike baby was in the car seat and police have not said if they have talked with the owner of the car.
