Pedestrian stuck by Oakland police officer

OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- Oakland police are also investigating an accident in which a pedestrian was hit by one of their officers. It happened around 10:30 last night near International Boulevard and 84th Avenue.

Police say a pedestrian was crossing the street when they were hit. That person was taken to the hospital after complaining of pain. There is no word on their condition.

Investigators say the officer was not responding to a call and when the accident happened.
