SF police search for stolen urn containing ashes of victim's mom

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- San Francisco police are searching for an urn that was stolen from a resident's Potrero Hill home last month. 554347

According to San Francisco police, the victim's home on the 1700 block of 20th Street was burglarized on Feb. 25 between 10:45 a.m. and 4:45 p.m.

Several items were taken, including the teardrop-shaped red urn that contained the ashes of the victim's mother, police said.

The victim is devastated over the loss of the urn, and San Francisco police are asking for the public's help in finding the urn. Police have released a picture of an urn that looks similar to the one that was stolen.
