OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- A mail delivery truck caught fire Tuesday in Oakland.
Investigators say the fire started Tuesday morning in the engine area.

The driver was able to pull the car over on 580 and escape before the fire got out of control.
The post office says letters and packages for delivery in Oakland were damaged in the fire.
It's unknown how much was destroyed.
