SFPD arrest suspect in hit-and-run involving mother, child

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Police in San Francisco are investigating a hit-and-run accident involving a mother and her 3-year-old child.

It happened Saturday between just before 9:00 p.m. in the South of Market area between Harrison and Folsom.

The suspect was arrested three-miles away off Silver and San Bruno.

The mother and the child have been taken to the hospital but there's no word yet on the extent of their injuries.
