Teenager killed after falling from cliff in San Francisco identified

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- A teen girl who died after falling from a cliff in San Francisco Thursday has been identified as Victoria La Rocca.

Officials responded to the scene after the call came in just before 6:30 p.m.

Crews rushed to the cliffs near the Legion of Honor Museum where the 17-year-old was with another teen and an adult when she went off the trail and fell.

Rescuers had to access the remote cliff from the water and they rushed her to China Beach, but were not able to revive her.

Victoria was going to be a senior at St. Ignatius in San Francisco.
