Two fatally shot in San Francisco's Bayview District

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- San Francisco police are searching for a gunman after two people were killed.

It happened at Cashmere Street and La Salle Avenue in the Bayview District around 5:15 p.m. Sunday.

Two people were riding dirt bikes when someone opened fire. One of them was hit by a bullet.

Both crashed their bikes trying to get away.

Investigators say the victims suffered serious injuries when they crashed and both later died at the hospital.
