VIDEO: Brawl breaks out on plane headed to LAX
LOS ANGELES (KGO) -- Video shows a fight on a flight involving five women and it has gone viral on social media.
The women slugged it out on Spirit Airlines. The brawl was caught on camera as the flight from Baltimore was landing at Los Angeles International Airport yesterday.
Spirit Airlines says two women who appeared to be intoxicated eere playing loud music on a boom box. Several passengers asked them to turn it down. They replied, "What are you going to do," then held up the boom box in the air and waved it around.
That's when the five women started fighting. LAX police met the plane at the gate and all the fighters were taken off. Airport police talked with the ladies and released them after an hour.
No one was arrested or charged.
The FBI told ABC7 News sister station in Los Angeles that this was primarily a verbal altercation involving multiple parties. Apparently, they haven't seen the video.
