Flock of Egrets and Herons nest in wetlands in Oakland

OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- The latest travelers taking flight out Oakland aren't airline passengers, they're birds.

A flock of Egrets and Herons are being relocated to wetlands in Oakland where it is safer for them to live, breed and support the ecosystem.
