In addition to meeting with President Obama at the White House Wednesday, Pope Francis spent time with two other members of the first family -- Sunny and Bo, the Obamas' dogs.

Following a ceremony on the South Lawn of the White House attended by thousands of people, Obama and the pope held a private meeting in the Oval Office. That's where the pontiff got to meet the Portuguese water dogs.

Six-year-old Bo joined the first family in 2009, while 3-year-old Sunny was welcomed into the family in 2013.
